- the rising action builds suspense by dramatic irony because we know that something bad will happen when he wishes for 200 hundred pounds but he does not.

- at this point nothing can be the same because they have lost there son. and there wish has come true but with deadly cosicwises.
- this resolves the mane conflict and all of the events have led to this that leads to the inevitable resolution conclusion.
- although not a traditional ending it fits the characteristics of a resolution in that the main conflict is resolved and it it is at the end of the story.
