- This is the story of The Rainbow Serpent created by the Nguengeri people. In the dream time long ago there lived The Rainbow Serpent. She was so big that when she travelled it created hills and valleys.
- After waking up The Rainbow Serpent started to travel transforming the world into a nicer home. Even though she was incredibly tired she kept on going until she completed her task.
- Once The Rainbow Serpent was finished she found a place to sleep knowing that the wound around her was now her creation. While she slept she was teleported back to where she awoke when her journey started.
- Once ready The Rainbow Serpent woke up the frogs, this however took a long period of time as the frogs were full of water. As frogs were the only animal to hold water she took them to the biggest valley.
- As soon as they got to the valley The Rainbow Serpent tickled all of the frogs' bellys until they regurgitated the water inside of them. This made the lakes and rivers witch allowed more plants to grow.
- After their new home was done all of the animals came out of the rocks and plains. The Rainbow Serpent told every animal that if they followed her they would become humans but if not she would turn them to stone.
