  • Caitlin arrives home, from school and her Dad had gotten a call from school saying that she had a Tantrum Rage Meltdown (TRM). In this chapter we learn more about Caitlin's disabilities like when she can't express an emotion she has a TRM
  • Chapter 7
  • Caitlin is at recess, and she saw Josh push another kid and she wants to go tell not to get into to personal space. Josh completely misunderstands what she means and talks about her brother and how he didnt kill him that his cousin did. then a bunch of kids came and "saved" her. They basically said to leave Caitlin alone.
  • Chapter 8
  • We learn that Caitlin has an above average reading level, she can read at her Dad's reading level . We learn mier about Caitlin and how she doesn't like things to change, which is why she loves books; she also learns more about the human heart, and the only reason she did is because Devon was shot in his heart.
  • Chapter 9
  • Caitlin had to be in a group project for her class, but she doesn't want to be in a group with the other kids,. Her teacher Mrs. Johnson, tries to explain to her that she has to be in a group wit the other kids, and she refuses, then she gets sent to Mrs. Brooks's office. In there, they discuss the future with group projects and cooperating with other children.
  • Caitlin finishes her "group" project & shows her dad. He got sad because he knew this project was based on Devon, he told Caitlin that she was allowed to watch a video. She talks about Bambi & when she and Devon were young they watched that movie. She says that she relates to Bambi because they were smart (Caitlin is smarter than Devon & he was older)& her mother died when she was young
  • Mrs. Brooks tells Caitlin that she will no longer have recess with the fifth grader no more, that she is changing her schedule. Instead she will be having recess with the kids in kindergarten through second  grade. Caitlin walks around with Mrs. Brooks while the fifth graders have recess and they talk about how people walk  together and listening.
