- Mitilda was poor who really wanted to be rich.

- her husband got an invitation for the both of them to go to this fancy party
- Mitilda went to her friend to get nice jewelry for the party
- she was unhappy in her marriage because she thought she was way too good for this poor life and her husband.she constantly dreamed of having the perfect life that she thought she deserved with money.She knew she was beautiful so she wanted to be treated like royalty.her husband was very grateful for the things he has and loves her on the other hand.
- she was super excited to go to the party with the jewelry and her new dress
- but as he thought she would be thrilled she ended up being furious,yelling at him,he was sad and confused,she didn't have a nice dress to wear to the party.she started crying asking him for money to buy a very fancy dress,he gave her 2000 dollars that he was gonna buy a gun with,he told her to buy something nice.
- when it came to when it was time to go mitildas husband bung out a jacket for her so they can start heading out
- she spotted a beautiful necklace that looked the most EXPENSIVE then all the others.she asked her friend to borrow that necklace and that one only to wear to the party and her friend happily said yes.
- shes realized she lost it and after trying to find it they coudn't.
- as they arrived she looked stunning in her dress and all,everyone was staring at her and felt that she looked beautiful.this was everything that she dreamed of.she talked to everyone and was having a very good time.
- out ofembarrassment,she walked away not wanting people to find out she was poor since everyone else had fur coats and she didn't.Little does she know she didn't have her friends expensive necklace on her anymore.

- they planned on replacing it,they went to a place and found the same exact necklace for 900k.they had to sell everything and was homeless.they had to work for 10 years trying to pay for the loan.the friend saw how bad Mitilda looks,mitilda explained everything and the friend told her how the one she had was a lot cheaper and that there was no point in her doing all of that.
