- Heh heeh, goodbye Fortunato
- Montresor approaches Forunato at a carnival. Montresor is trying to be nice but is taking Fortunato to the catacombs of the wine house to get revenge on him.
- Fallng Action
- They arrive at the wine house and no one is at home, Montresor takes Fortunato down to the catacombs where they start walking. Fortunato coughs so Montresor gives him some wine to drink, as they are there they discuss why Montresor wants the Amonitllado so bad.
- Conclusion
- Montresor was playing Fortunato the whole time just to get him into the catacombs and he puts Fortunato in a niche in the wall to kill him because he wanted revenge on Fortunato. He thrust Fortunato into the wall and traps him in there and puts links on his hands and tied him up. Then Montresor stands there and laughs.
- While Fortunato is slowly dying Montresor gets to work laying the blocks on the wall to close in the wall. Montresor works quickly to get this donr and to make sure no one finds Fortunato.
- Before he leaves Montresor puts a torch into the wall with Fortunato anf closes up the last spaces of the wall. Montresor tricked Fortunato and killed him and made sure that no one will find him.
