Did you know that the waters from the ocean, streams, rivers and any body of waters found in plants and animals evaporate as water vapor because of heat.
Good Morning Class! I am teacher Hyze!
Today, we will discuss the hydrologic cycle. Hydrologic cycle is a continuous circulation of water in the surface of the earth to the atmosphere. So how does water from the earth surface go to the atmosphere?
The heat from the sun ignite the molecules of liquid water to change into water vapor.
Precipitation happens when the clouds are very saturated with cloud droplets / ice crystals and the temperature is low.
Condensation happens in the atmosphere where there condensation nuclei like salt substance and dust mixed with water vapor and become ice crystals/cloud droplets.
Ice crystals/cloud droplets are micron size that needs to group with other droplets to gain enough mass to fall as precipitation.
Rain falls into the ground are infiltrated to the soil and some flows back into the ocean and other tributaries called run-off.
When the sun rises, evaporation takes place again.
Okay class! Again the process of water cycle involves Evaporation, Condensation and Precipitation. This cycle has no beginning and no ending.
