- The battle of Marathon is a horrifying battle between the Persians and the Athens the Athens became victorious they surprised attack the Persians this battle lasted 3 hours before the Persians lost then a runner ran 26.2 miles make to Athen an yelled "Nike" before he died of exhaustion.
- The battle of Thermopylae this battle was between the Persians and the Spartans the Spartans lost and the Persians won but the Spartans put up a good fight the Spartans were smart they stood back and let the Persians go to them. Because the Persians would send a couple of soldiers at a time and the Spartans would take them out but the Persian flanked them but the Spartans sent a little away and some to stay so the others would survive.
- The battle of Salamis this was the most famous and most important battle of the Greeks because if they won the Persians would retreat and go home but if they lost the Persians would take over but the Greek won by sending a messenger into acting like he betrayed the Greek and told the Persian king that they are scared and are hiding behind a island and the kind immidietly sent ships to kill the Greek but they Greek surprised attacked them and they fought they were out numbered and had smaller ships but they move faster and had alot of team work the Greek only lost 40 boats and the Persians lost 200 boats and in the end the Greek won and the Persians left.
