- The hero is Rapunzel. The main character in the contribution is Repunzul. Though, some circumstances led to her being in a tower (castle). Moreover, Repunzal saw the lights which displayed only on her birthday. She is determined to find out why the lights only appear on her birthday. She uses her hair to escape the tower and saves herself. She aquires new friends along the journey.
- The sidekick is Pascale. The chameleon is Rapunzel's, best friend and always helps her during the best times and the dangerous and unpleasant times. Additionally, Pascale also changes colors due to blend in or to portray his emotions. The chameleon Pascale and Rapunzel meet new friends along the way and have trials and experiences along as they go throughout to find Repunzuals desire along the journey. This is very important in the story.
- In the story, many characters are portrayed. The Gothel is considered the nemesis because she abducts Rapunzel to use her hair to make Gothel look young and beautiful. She is greedy and lies to Rapunzel. She keeps Rapunzel in the tower for 18 years, not telling where her origins are and lying to her for reasons. In conclusion, Gothel uses Rapunzel and does not expose her to the outside world and uses her for her own purposes.
