- Before the french revolution
- King Louis XVI:I was thinking about a room just for partying and another just to put our shoes

- We are still in debt even with the high taxes

- This is where i plan on putting all my expensive stuff i'll buy from the tax money on the peasants

- Before the french revolution, France was in deep debt and the kings only made it worse with partying every night and buying expensive things.
- The king escapes
- King...Why would i be the king i am not the king ....who's asking ?
- by the time 1788 was coming to an end the debt got worse and taxes got high for the peasants ,Bread riots begin to spread and KIng Louis XVI for the first time in 175 years the king called a meeting with the estates general.
- The King execution
- Frenchmen I die innocent ,I pardon the authors of my death I pray to god that the blood about to be split never fall upon the head of france

- On july 14 1789 ,the bastile was stormed by more than 800 Parisians .They demanded weapons and gun powder .Fire was opened on the crowd and many people were killed.The group killed the commander and some guards ,they even released some prisoners The storming of it however led to the ending of absolute monarchy and a step towards freedom and the start of the french revolution
- The queen execution
- You guys kind of look like the King and queen
- In 1791 a constitution was made by the national assembly this took away a lot of the kings power .On June 1791 the king decided to leave with a disguise as a servant and the queen with him. They were later caught and they use a piece of currency to identify them

- The King was later escorted back to Paris. On they way back they were insulted by a lot of people.The king was later put on trial as a traitor and was giving the death sentence,and on January 1793 the king was beheaded

- Not to long after the Kings execution the queen was executed. Her death was celebrated.She showed great dignity during her execution
