  • Hello Class, today we will be discussing what justice is.
  • I've always wondered about justice. Was it something I learned from school, family, or my friends?
  • I always thought it meant to be served for those who deserve it. Like those of WW1 veterans when the bonus army supported them.
  • I am an expert on justice! I have always seen justice as getting treating everyone and everything the same. Like when animals are served the same justice as you and I.

  • Wow guys, those are all great thoughts on what justice is to you all. All of you are correct. Justice means many different things. Man people think justice just comes in the form of the court. However, this is not the case
  • So you are telling me Justice could be involved with art????
  • Even the media can involve justice??
  • HAHA, I know that justice involves all these things ad even more!
  • Slide: 3
  • Justice comes in the form of many! Including art Jason. For example, Dorothea Lange, She was a woman who viewed her art not just as photographs, but as ways to invoke social change amongst her peers. It was especially hard for her due to her circumstance and this lady really demonstrates what justice is!
  • Yes Yes, and I bet you do my friend. Feel free to explain after I explain to your fellow students who are curious
  • Justice is also found in the media Steven! Every single day in our day and age, we use the media, whether it be school, work, or free time. It is always there. Many things are occurring in those media spaces and sometimes those things can be bad, like sometimes you hear something bad on the news but then something good comes of it! But be careful to watch out for bias

  • Wow Jimmy! That was quite the explanation. Thank you for that. And on that note, this concludes our class on Justice!
  • Feel Free to explain to us what you think justice is Jimmy!
  • Justice is not just about punishment or upholding the good to the bad; it's about rehabilitation and restoration. It's about addressing the root causes of inequality and striving to create a society where everyone has equal opportunities and access to resources. It's about holding those in power accountable for their actions and advocating for marginalized voices to be heard.
  • On a personal level, justice guides my decisions and actions in everyday life. It influences how I treat others, stand up against injustice, and work towards positive change in my community. Justice is a constant journey of learning, reflection, and action, and it's something I strive to embody in all aspects of my life.
