A Day at School!

- Today, I will bring you through an exciting but atypical day at my school. I begin each and every day with science class which is my favorite subject! This week, we are learning about the metamorphosis of a butterfly. We each got to observe and analyze caterpillars as they made their pupas, it was so interesting. For homework, the entire class was required to write an in depth report about our observations. I was one of the first to finish the report, in fact, the teacher loved it so much, he used it as an exemplary example for the rest of the class to reference off of!
- My next class is world history. We are currently studying the Greeks. So far, I am most intrigued by the invention of the catapult, it’s safe to say that the Greeks were not docile! I also learned the Greeks had a strong government, so there was no room for anarchy. Next unit we learn about the Romans and their use of the amphitheater. I’ve always enjoyed watching plays so I can’t wait to learn more!
- My last class of the day is English. By this point, the entire class is restive and cannot sit still. Although English is not my favorite class, I still make an effort to learn and make note of all the information presented to me. This chapter, we are learning about literary devices like hyperboles, paraphrases, similes, and metaphors. My mom has always been a good poet, but I don't think I inherited those genes.
