- Hey there, would you like to try some of this alcohol or drugs?
- No, I thought this was an alcohol/drug free party? I am a student athlete and I could get in trouble for this.
- Drinking alcohol at an early age can increase addiction, and so can drug use
- It will not hurt you to try it. 80% of high schoolers have tried it! and 22% of youth have access. It is not that bad for you!
- I am leaving this party!
- I was offered drugs and alcohol, so I left!
- Why are you home so early; son?

- I am really proud of you! Let me tell you about some of the risks of drugs and alcohol.
- School problems (lack of attendance, lower grades). Social problems (lack of participation in activities, and increase in physical fights.)

- The risk of affecting brain development and growth, health problems, and sleep disorders.

- So, always say no to drugs and alcohol?

- Here are some tips on how to say no when offered!
- As you saw earlier, say no and leave right away!
- Tell a responsible adult as soon as you can!
- Let them know about the effects they can have!
- Last but not least, if they get mad at you for saying no, they aren't truly your friends!
