- We just came from South Africa (The kingdom of Aksum). It was a long trip but we did learn their culture and we received Ivory. But, we have to get to China because we are in need of cloth and silk. When we are done trading in China we will soon trade with Muslim Rulers and traders the (sultans).
- These monsoon winds are getting pretty hectic! I hope we can still get to China to receive trade goods such as, clothes,silk,and spices. As a mariner there is nothing to worry about especially since I developed these skills. We still do not know what to trade with the people in China,but we will soon figure it out.

- Im so glad Ive received cloth and spices. In return I will give you Ivory from South Africa. However I would also want to learn your language how do you speak it?
- Yes! I would love to trade my culture in return for yours. I'm Chinese so I will teach you how to say some words of Chinese in return for some words in your language!

- I have finally made it to Arabia to trade with one of the sultans after China and the long boat ride. In my opinion you should give me grain and in return, I will give you Ivory or cloth.Also it would be nice knowing your culture and how to speak your language.
- Sounds like a plan! Also, I will teach you how to speak Arabic since I am Muslim! I also still can't believe all of the places you've been to, just to trade! It sounds like so much fun. Anyways I will teach you some Arabic and you can teach me your language!
