- Victor has a crush on Teresa and hopes they have French class together. While on this way to his homeroom class, he runs into his friend, Michael, and talks to him about his summer.
- Falling Action
- Victor ends up in the same French class as Teresa and tries to impress her by speaking or trying to sound fluent in French.
- Resolution
- I'm going to like seventh grade.
- Teresa compliments Victor on his French and was surprised that he “knew” the language. Victor pleads with his eyes, so that Mr. Bueller does not say anything about him not actually knowing French.
- Mr. Bueller stays silent and says nothing about Victor not knowing French to Teresa. Teresa and Victor leave the classroom and Teresa asks Victor to help her with her French. Victor agrees and they part ways.
- Can you help me with my French?
- Sure, anytime.
- After class, Victor goes to the library and grabs a few French textbooks to learn French to teach Teresa. There, he decides that he was going to like seventh grade.
