Storyboard Text
- A group of school boys survive a plane crash, on their way to boarding school. They end up stranded on a remote island.
- Exposition
- The conflict presented is Man vs. Man. There is is a power struggle between the 2 boys, Ralph and Jack. Jack will do whatever it takes to get ahead.
- Conflict
- As the boys come together and need to choose a leader, Ralph wins. This causes tension between Ralph and Jack, as Jack is furious when he loses.
- Rising action
- Jack and his hunters successfully find and catch a pig. They have reenactments of the hunt and this shows how the boys first start to go crazy.
- Rising action # 2
- Ralph believes they should find shelter and make fires, while Jack wants to hunt. After rumors go around that there is a best on the island, the boy are all afraid. They split into two groups. Jack leading one and Ralph the other.
- Rising action #3
- Simon comes out from the forest after searching for the beast, while the tribal dance is being performed. Simon is looked at, as the beast. The tribe tears him apart and kills him.
- Climax
- In Ralph and Piggy's attempt to get to castle rock to relight the signal fire, Samneric are captured by the tribe. The tribe has other motives. They take a big boulder and roll it down the hill, causing Piggy to get thrown off the cliff, as he gets hit by it. The conch breaks along with him, showing how order is now officially lost.
- Falling action #1
- Ralph tries to get back to the tribe retrieve Samneric and to reason with Jack. How ever, instead what happens, is Jack sets out a full island search for Ralph and when he is found they begin to chase him. They run through the forest over mountains and under trees.
- Falling action #2
- As Ralph gets chased down by the tribe, he encounters a navy seal. Ralph tells the man the whole situation. The boys are then brought back home.
- Resolution
