  • With the End of the 7 Years war comes Britain France's long petty feud comes about.
  • As the British continue on their path of colonizing westward, and setting up forts into the Ohio River Valley, the French are not happy.
  • With the French setting up several forts, the British sent George Washington to capture one. This resulted in a Major defeat for the army by the French.
  • Later, the creation of the Albany Congress came into fruition in order to have discoussion of how the colonies' next move should play out, with Benjamin Franklin being the forefront of the Albany plan: Making an informal government, although the plan was rejcted.
  • The British make the decision to 'push back' on the French in 1755. In doing so they sent General Braddock in hopes of caputring Fort Duquesene, although their venture fumbled as the French and Indian forces teamed up and attacked. This loss was devestaing but showed many that it is possible defeat the British.
  • The trust between the French and the Natives grew stronger leading to the Natives siding with the French as it provided belief of a win, and much profit benefits later.
  • With William Pitt's military Guidence, the tides turned against the french allowing for the British to capture Louisbourg which allowed for a ripple effect in Wins.
