- Most dynasties do not have periods of prosperity for a long time. High taxes started to pile up for the poor and that left them unable to provide nor feed their families. This happened because the government had become corrupt.
- These TAXES ARE ALL MINE!!
- You have taken our hard earned taxes so now we will rebel and take away your dynasty!!!!!
- cSome leaders had even collected tax and took it for themselves. These leaders did not even pay for their own taxes. Although most of the Emperors in this dynasty knew it was a problem, they decided to ignore it. The peasants started to rebel.
- We will take control of Korea, we will overthrow!
- During the rebellion, the Manchus and Japanese people started to threaten the Ming.The Ming started to fight Japanese people to sustain its control over Korea. However, they were too weak to solve their problems. Eventually, in 1644 the Manchus conquered the Ming.
- We SHALL FIGHT TO THE DEATH!
- Now we are Just lousy PEASANTS!!!
