- President Thomas Jefferson agreed to buy the Louisiana Purchase. It was 15 million dollars to buy the territory. It will double the size of the US.

- Lewis and Clark traveled 8,000 miles to explore and when they were exploring they went through 123 miles through Kansas. Lewis and Clark loved Kansas. This is a picture of were they traveled in Kansas.
