A group of men are together telling stories and the last person to tell their story is a tall older man who is known as the seventh man because no one knows about him

A huge typhoon is moving into the small town and the seventh man's family takes shelter in their home waiting for the typhoon to be over
K and the seventh man are on the beach until the seventh man notices that the waves are further back then usual then realizes a huge wave is coming but it's too late for K to realize and the wave took the both of them only the seventh man survived
After the events on the beach occur the seventh man moves away because he thinks it will help with his guilt of thinking it was his fault that k died
The man then found a box of his old belongings but also found old paintings made by K. After that everyday he came back and sat down to look at the pictures soon he began to realize that the look on k was not of hatred
The seventh man finally overcomes his guilt and fear and then says "the worst thing we can do is turn our backs to the fear
