- Renewable energy is an energy source that can be replaced or replenished naturally at the rate of consumption.
- Exactly. There is depletable and nondepleteable renewables
- Depletable renewables can run our if overused, such as: biomass
- Nondepletable renewables do not run out if overused, such as: solar or wind
- Nonrenewable energy is an energy source that exist in fixed amounts on Earth and cannot be easily replaced or regenerated.
- There are different ones, such as fossil fuels and nuclear energy
- Fossil fuels are remains of ancient biomass that can take millions of years to form, like coal.
- Nuclear energy is energy generated from uranium or radioactive fuels
- Nonrenewable energy is an energy source that exist in fixed amounts on Earth and cannot be easily replaced or regenerated.
