  • Even though we are trees, we still have to eat. We are living things that are called producers, and they make their own food from mother nature. We take in carbon dioxide, water, and sunlight. We release oxygen and sugar that is energy in the form of ATP that consumers need to live. This process is called photosynthesis. We are the reason why animals and humans can live. There are also things like mushrooms and ants that are called decomposers. They eat dead things to get the energy that they need to survive. The horse is the consumer. The mushrooms are the decomposers.

  • CAN YOU BELIEVE HOW MUCH CARBON DIOXIDE WE RELEASE? IT'S SO SAD BECAUSE THE TREES ARE GETTING CUT DOWN BY HUMANS! THAT MEANS THAT THERE WILL BE MORE AND MORE CARBON, AND LESS AND LESS OXYGEN! WE BREATHE IN OXYGEN THAT TREES MAKE AND WE BREATHE OUT CARBON DIOXIDE! THAT IS CALLED CELLULAR RESPIRATION! THERE IS JUST TOO MUCH CARBON.
  • I know it is terrible and how people are so reckless. If they stop cutting down trees that would help at least some.

  • So all in all producers take in carbon dioxide, water, and sunlight. Carbon dioxide is a gas that we breathe out. Producers also release oxygen and sugar, which is a must have for animals and even humans. That is why photosynthesis is such a big deal. Plants make their own oxygen and sugar that helps everyone. We then breathe out carbon dioxide. The plants need carbon so it is a win win!
  • That's why the carbon cycle is so important!
