  • Encourage open communication: Teachers can create a welcoming environment where parents feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas. Teachers can provide opportunities for parents to ask questions and express concerns, and ensure that they are actively listening to what parents have to say.
  • Provide feedback: Teachers can provide parents with regular feedback on their child's progress and academic performance. By keeping parents informed about their child's strengths and areas for improvement, teachers can empower parents to play an active role in their child's education.
  • 4 Ways to Help Parents Share Their Voices
  • Collaborate: Teachers can work collaboratively with parents to create a shared vision for their child's education. By involving parents in the decision-making process, teachers can help parents feel empowered and invested in their child's academic journey. This can also lead to more meaningful and effective communication between parents and teachers.
  • Use technology: Teachers can use technology to connect with parents and make it easier for them to share their thoughts and opinions. For example, teachers can use online platforms or email to send out surveys or questionnaires to parents, or create a virtual forum for discussion.
