"You're not a boston judge yet, Hathorne. You'll not call me daft!"
Judge Hathorne walks into the courtroom to hear Giles Corey screaming about how they will be hanging his wife, and how he brings evidence to save her.

"Giles Corey, sir, and a more contentious-"
"Who is this man?"
To Parris: "I am asked the question, and i am old enough to answer it!" To Danforth: "My name is Corey, sir, Giles Corey. I have six hundread acres, and timber in addition. It is my wife you be condemning now."
Danforth, Ezekiel Cheever and Parris enter the courtroom, It Goes silent, Danforth then walks to Giles.

"And how do you imagine to help her cause with such contemptuousriot? Now be gone. Your old age alone keeps you out of jail for this."
beginning to plead: "They be tellin’ lies about my wife, sir, I -"
"Do you take it upon yourself to determine what this court shallbelieve and what it shall set aside?"
" Your Excellency, we mean no disrespect for -"
"Disrespect indeed! It is disruption, Mister. This isthe highest court of the supreme government of this province, do you know it?"
Giles tries to convince them to let his wife go, but Danforth is not having it, and tells him to be gone, yet Giles still tries his hardest to get his wife back.
