- ALLIANCE
- Germany: This should protect me from France, they could declare war on me. I'm nervous...
- NATIONALISM
- Germany was making its military to be better than just the normal civilian during a time of peace. This made their neighbor countries sus of them... so they started to watch them more closely... not like a war would start.
- IMPERIALISM
- The alliances created during this war usually got into conflict, and this was a major start to the war. During a time of peace, the Chancellor of Prussia, who feared France, started a treaty with Austria-Hungary, this starts many conflicts in the future.
- ASSASINATION
- Countries were being greedy and not negotiating. They all thought they were the best and most powerful country and had a really big ego.
- M.A.N.I.A
- As countries such as Britain and France expanded their empires, it increased tensions among European countries, because of their increase in size and power.
- After the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria. His murder started a war across Europe that lasted until 1918.
