- Places that were for trade but developed into organizations called "guilds". After the guilds were developed there became two main types of guilds called merchant and craft guilds. As these guilds grew they turned into to towns that grew bigger and bigger.
- Disease and Medical Treatment
- I fell and hurt myself when coming home from our pilgrimage
- As trade began to regain popularity the guilds expanded into large towns. In the beginning most of the products available to buy were things only the wealthy could afford. Inside of these guilds were specific sections for different things like food and clothes.
- Crime and Punishment
- In Homes the poor usually had houses that were cramped and could actually bend so far they reached across the street! The poor usually had one room where they cooked, ate, and slept. The rich had a better experience were they might of had multiple floors for different things.
- Leisure and Entertainment
- Most of the of the time people needed help with diseases. Diseases were most prominent because of all of the fleas and rats that carried all kinds of diseases. Many of these diseases were smallpox, cholera, but the most feared and most dangerous was the bubonic plague also known as the black plague.
- Jails were very small and dirty cells in which the prisoners were stuffed into cells. These cells were usually very tight and crowded. Prisoners also had to rely on their family and friends had to bring them food and water or else they would starve or die of an ilness.
- People used to play many games that were played today. Workers also got some days off to enjoy these games like chess and also used cards to play many games. Adults also used to dance and have feasts.
