once upon a time there was a wealthy man with 2 sons living in a beautiful house
One day the youngest son asked:
Give me my share of the estate!
so the father divided his property between the 2 sons.
the younger son gathered all he had, set off to a distant country and squandered his wealth in wild living.
After he wasted his money a great famine swept the country. He got a job feeding pigs.
He finally came to his senses and decided to return to his father.
Bring quickly the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. And bring the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and celebrate. For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’
Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
