Storyboard Text
- In chapter 5, Jem and Dill grow a lot closer, and Scout begin to feel left out of their friendship because she's a girl.
- As a result of this, Scout starts spending lot of time with her neighbor, Miss Maudie.
- This time that Scout is away from Dill and Jem she is getting advice from Miss Maudie and talking to her about the Radleys and Boo's theories.
- Miss Maudie who is Scout's old neighbor, tells Scout that Boo Radley's name is actually Arthur and he is alive and not dead.
- As Scout keeps asking Miss Maudie about the rumor about Boo she says that they probably were made up by Miss Stephanie Crawford.
- Miss Maudie explains how Arthur just stays inside his house all day and how his dad Mr. Radley was a, "foot washing baptist."

- Scout was very scared when Dill explains that they wrote that they'd like to buy Boo ice cream and sit with him on the porch.
- The fishing pole was too short, and then Scout hears the doorbell ring which was Dill ringing the bell at Atticus. So he yells at them to go home.
- In this part of chapter 5 Dill and Jem rope Scout into joining them in giving Boo Radley a note by dropping it in his broken shutter.
