Storyboard Text
- Tantalus is boiling his dead son Pelops in order to serve it to the gods who came to his palace to feast.Tantalus hatred for the gods made him willing to sacrifice Peelops in order to bring upon them the horror of being cannibals.
- When the gods realized what Tantalus had served him he was punished.When he tried to drink the water would disappear,when he tried to get fruit from a fruit tree the wind would toss them high away out of reach.
- After the gods brought Pelops back from the dead,he challenged Hippodamias father to a race.The king's horses were given to him by Ares,but Pelops horses were a [resent from Poseidon.Pelops ended up winning the race from the help of Hippodamia who convinced Myrtilus to help her.
- After Pelops won the race he killed Myrtilus,cursing him as he died.This action of killing Myrtilus doomed his children.Then one that suffered the worst was his daughter Niobe.
- Niobe married Amphion,a son of Zeus and who was also a musician.Amphion and his twin brother Zethus decided to fortify Thebes,building a wall around it.There he and Niobe ruled in entire content along with her fourteen children,until Niobe showed mad arrogance.
