- As teachers, we know that each and every student are unique and special in their own ways! It's important to always consider the needs of our students in the classroom.
- It's also important to consider the Parents of children who have special needs. As a teacher there are a few things we can do to help both the parents and students have their voices heard. Like having meetings where they can voice what they think works best for their child outside of home.
- As a teacher of students with various learning styles, english language learners and special needs it is important to be in contact with the parents. Allow the parents to know how their child is progressing in school. Keeping parents informed can help them to work on certain skills outside of the classroom with their child.
- Parents with children who have special needs are learners too! This is a learning process for the student, parents, and teachers as well! Schools can work together with parents to ensure the best learning experience for their child.
