- The first bike ever created was not really a bike. You had to push and then you would sit on it.It was also entirely made out wood, Had no pedals and was called the velocipede.
- The clay tablets were found in southwest Asia dating all the back to 3500 BCE. The tablets had images of four-wheeled wagons.
- Chariots were all around Rome and Romans would use chariots to get around. Chariots are 2 wheeled wagons attached to a horse. The chariots also had a spot for a person to control the horse. Also, they were fast and efficient. The Romans took of 2 wheels from the traditional 4 wheeled wagon.
- Then the company Michaux and Company started to mass-produce the velocipede. And this one had pedals on it so you didn't have to push
