Storyboard Text
We need to have a lock-out, we can not allow them inside.
I have just been informed that the workers are planning a strike because they feel like the dismissal of our employee Lihle was unfair.
We need to be vigilant, I will organise a meeting with the staff to try and calm them down.
I have just informed Mr Kimbili about the strike action planned for tomorrow.
A staff meeting won't make any difference as that will only stir things up.
We need to talk to the shop steward to try and get him to persuade the employees.
In the midst of the strike, management stresses of the production sales.
Mr Abrahams we called you in today to ask you to talk to our employees and try to persuade them into calling off the strike.
That is not possible Mr. Kimbili, remember as a shop steward I only bargain for employees and their interests not the managements interests.
In this frame the managers show their concerns about the upcoming strike.
We can not afford a lock-out our production sales have gone down since the start of the month.
The Labour Relations Act 66 of 1995 allows employees to picket whenever they feel like their grievances are not dealt with accordingly.
Management trys to persuade the shop steward to calm down the employees.
Lihle it is best if you take the matter to the CCMA because the Factory has showed no signs of taking you back.
The shop steward states that he can not bargain against the employees.
Mr Kimbili complains about the recent production sales which have been on decline since the start of last month.
In this frame we see Mr. Abraham telling Lihle to take the matter to the CCMA.
I think I should resign before they fire me for theft as that would look bad on my record.
