  • After The Yellow Mans Death
  • The Plan
  • Get Mae Out
  • We are going to break Mae out.
  • Winnie was finally home in her parent's arms. Mae was in prison, being charged for the death of the man in the yellow suit. All she could think about was if the Tucks were safe and how they saved her without even thinking about what it would do to their family.
  • Jail
  • Jess came to Winnie’s house and told her about the plan to break Mae out of the small jailhouse. Jess gave her a bottle of pond water to drink when she turned 17. They decided that Winnie would switch places with Mae and let their family escape at midnight.
  • Saving The Frog
  • Take this.
  • It was finally time. The clock hit 12, and Winnie knew it was time to help the Tucks in their time of need like they helped her. Everything went smoothly, Mae slipped out of the window, and Winnie went inside. But little did they know that that was the last time they would see Winnie.
  • In Loving Memory of Winifred
  • In Loving MemoryWinifred Foster Jackson1870-1948
  • To hide in the jail cell, she tried to make her body look bigger and did not sleep all night, thinking it would blow her cover. In the morning she was found, the jail keeper was furious, but he could not do anything about it.
  • The Tucks had been gone for some weeks now. Winnie was alone, she had no one to talk to or play with. Then she saw the frog, the same one that she saw in the beginning. She saw a dog start to watch and walk closer to it, so she saved the frog and brought it into her house to save it. Because there was more magical water in the forest, she used every last drop on the frog.
  • Years later, the Tucks finally came back, but they were too late. They saw Winnie’s gravestone in the town that they used to live in. They were devastated that she died and couldn’t see her ever again. So they left and never came back to Treegap.
