  • Pranay let me explain you the Chernobyl disaster. Chernobyl disaster was a nuclear disaster.On April 25 and 26, 1986, the worst nuclear accident occurred in the history. It took place 130 km north of Kyiv, Ukraine. In this nuclear disaster, 2500 people died and more than 3.5 million people were affected and more than 4,00,000 were displaced in Ukraine alone. The major cause of this nuclear disaster was that workers violated the safety protocols and this led to power surges inside the plant.
