- Exposition
- Rising Action #1
- She has been wanting to go for years. We could at least try it.
- SHE IS TOO YOUNG TO GO, NOT YET AT LEAST
- Rising Action #2
- Melanie and her mom drove home in their dark,poisoned and over populated world after Melanie's teaching lesson. Which she spent day dreaming about flamingos or as she like to call them firebirds. The air was as thick as the tension in the air.
- Climax
- Melanie had been wanting to go to the Natural Park for quite sometime. It was the only place in the world where wild birds still lived.
- Falling Action
- When she had made it to the Natural Park she looked around there were no firebirds. She looked back at her dad that was now talking to the care-taker. Melanie knew it was her only chance so she ran into the forest to try and find her beloved firebird.
- Resolution
- She saw it a firebrid it was even more beautiful then her day dreams. She ran across the pond to touch it. She to it was like a perfect flower standing in a bunch of trash. As she ran to it her father started to yell for her to come back. When she made it to the flamingo she reached out, just as her fingers touched it. The flamingo feel in the water it started floating. What she thought was a firebrid was a plastic pink flamingo.She started to cry.
- GET OUT OF THERE
- As she cried at her crushed dreams the care-taker started to take to her dad,
- We used to have flamingos many years ago but when the last one died we put this up. Most people believe it. The flamingos needed more.
- Melanie stopped crying. She listened to everything the care-taker has said. As she picked up the plastic bird and put it standing up. She reached a new level of maturity that she was destined to be.
