- You're smaller than I though , too small to be a tasty morsel. I cannot satisfy myself .
- No! I'm not small. If I scream will my mom hear me if she's asleep?
- Milton!!! My son , where are you?
- I told you already not to go in there!
- He approached the wall next to the apartment. After the incident he saw himself in the garden of the abandoned house...
- It's the same way you got into my garden. Because you would run from me just like you did this afternoon. You are so small, how would you contain me? Let me continue your Aunt Hilda's story.
- How did you get in? Why you do not do so before? You wanted to eat me!
- Milton's mother already shouting, finding him.
- They succeeded you know , washing away the green out of her. The garden grew, but she weakened until she disappeared in her last breath. Her parents moved away, burning the house before they leave. Why did they want to change her? What was wrong with her lovely green skin. I have grown wild, hungry and unloved. Will you love me, Milton?

- Milton couldn't explain why he was out in the street that night. He was marched out straight to his room and was punished by not giving any supper.
- He was hungry by midnight, so he crept down the stairs to the kitchen but he didn't know the creature was waiting for him
- The green girl disappeared right in front of Milton's eyes. Summer vacation is almost over, he's afraid of what his classmates might think of him so he refuses to befriend her.
- By school time, he thought it was all a dream.
