- Betty and her little sister were at home waiting for their mom and dad to get home. They were having a good time and not expecting anything bad to happen.
- Betty's little sister was looking out the window and she all the sudden called Betty over to her. They both had seen a huge cloud of black dust coming toward them.
- Betty and her sister did what was safe and they got towels and covered the window seals with them so that the dust would not come in.
- Betty realized that her horse was outside. She has had the horse for a long time. She put her little sister in her crib and told her to stay right there. She got a rope and attached it to her porch and tied it around her wrist. It was so dusty that she couldn't see a thing. She thought she heard her horse wining, but it was just her mind playing games. She eventually found her horse and brought it inside.
- The two girls were in the house and safe. Betty was making dinner while her little sister was taking a nap. Betty heard her mom and dads car outside and it woke up her little sister. They both ran to the door.

- The two girls went outside and ran to their parents. They were full of joy. Their dad told Betty that her horse was gone and they both laughed and said the horse is inside!
