The Lord calls Moses
Moses you must go back to Egypt and rescue my people from the Egyptians.
I am nobody. How can I go to the king and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?
5Now the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river, while her young women walked beside the river. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her servant woman, and she took it:6When she opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the baby was crying. The Pass over
You must cover the beams of your doorways with lamb's blood, so the Lord will not let the angle of death enter your house.
14 He answered, “Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you mean to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid, and thought, “Surely the thing is known.” 15 When Pharaoh heard of it, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from Pharaoh and stayed in the land of Midian. And he sat down by a well.

7 Then the Lord said, “I have seen how cruelly my people are being treated in Egypt; I heard them cry out to be rescued from their slave drivers. 15 The Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out for help? Tell the people to move forward. 16 Lift up your walking stick and hold it out over the sea. The water will divide, and the Israelites will be able to walk through the sea on dry ground.
