- His grand father was an animal lover
- His grand mother always fussed with the arrival of new animals
- he bought toto the monkey from a tonga driver
- toto was a pretty monkey his eyes sparkled with mischeif

- His presence was still a secret his was transfered to grandfathers private zoo
- Toto did not let any of his companions sleep
- So grandfather decided to take him to saharanpur along with him
- Toto suddenly came out of the bag and scared the ticket collector
- the ticket collector charged 3 rupees for toto
- sir you have a monkey with youyou will have to pay for it
- what!, this is not a dog it is a monkey
- grand father took out a tortoise from his pocket and asked what should i pay for this
- no charge it is not a dog

- toto loved the warm water prepared by his grandfather for him and then he would cunningly check the temprature of the water and then enter the bath one foot at a time he learned to do this from the narrator.
- when the water becomes cold he would run away to the kitchen fire to dry himself.
- once he almost burnt himself because he did not realize that the kettle is on fire.
- he was saved by the grandmther just on time as he was pulled out of the kettle.
