- Thats a great idea! as the old saying goes, prevention is better than cure, initiating TB prophylaxis to high-risk people and the use of mask will help reduce infection and conversely economic burden in health and welfare care costs. It will reduce the risk of infection/reinfection and drug-resistant TB especially in close contacts
- Definitely, Implementation of screening programs in health institutions, crowded settings like schools, day care centres, malls, work environment will aid with early diagnosis and treatment commencement
- Promoting and implementing collaboration and surveillance programs in healthcare institutions both in private and public and social services can aid in monitoring Tb infections, enhancing cure rates, preventing MDR-TB, as well as providing support to people affected.
- implementing these recommendations will massively reduce MDR-TB infections and improve the health and wellbeing of people. Let's us submit our draft to the minister, we need a united front to make a significant difference.
