- My name is Robert Hooke, I discovered cells. I was looking at a cork under a microscope and saw multiple chambers that looked like cell!
- Your discovery led to the understanding of cells as the smallest unit of life- The foundation of cell theory. Amazing!
- Your discovery of the nucleus and it's role helped to put together the cell theory, which states that all living organisms are composed of cells, and cells come from pre-existing cells. It helped confirm the second half of the cell theory. Fascinating!
- My name is Robert Brown, and I discovered the nucleus. I was looking at plants and noticed that pollen was traveling in and out of an oval in the cell. I deemed this oval as nucleus.
- My name is Theodor Schwann. My friend Schleiden told me how plants were made out of cells. Curious, I decided to look at animal tissues and discovered that all animals are made of cells.
