- Jonas finds out by watching his dad do a ceremony on video that the Giver showed him, that his dad actually kills the babies and that is what "releasing" is! His dad put's a shot into their forehead and that's what kills them and than he throws them into a dark whole that almost looks like a trashcan!

- Jonas and the giver started to plan on how to get Jonas out of the community safely and organized. Jonas was begging for the Giver to come with him but he had to stay in the community for when Jonas left, all of the memories would come back to the community. Jonas was determined and it took them two weeks to get the rest of the memories the Giver wanted to give Jonas so he was prepared for the elsewhere that he was trying to find.
- It's time to get out of this place.
- Resolution
- Jonas and Gabriel begin the adventure onto to elsewhere! The farther and farther Jonas goes the more memories go back to the community and it gets dangerous and unsafe. Jonas found out when he was still in his community that Gabriel was going to be released that next morning and we know what that means and so he took him with him because he doesn't want that to happen to Gabriel, he's just a little baby.
