In this scene, Baba was upset because he needs an ID to buy something and didn't have one causing him to get upset and the store owner threatened to call the police on them. This is notable as they still aren't used to the way the things are in America

In this scene, Baba and Amir are down in a basement in attempt to reach freedom. There were 30 refugees all down there and one asked Baba why he won't pray with the rest of them. Moments later, Amir also realized Kamal and his father were with them.
