- Cause of the War
- There are many causes of the war but one of them was 'Uncle Tom’s Cabin.'
- Start of the War
- One of the reasons the civil war was started was the southern states seceded.
- The civil war was important because it was fought to end slavery in the south. It was also important cause it changed the way people looked at slaves.
- Union War Efforts
- One reason the union wanted to blockade the ports was to keep their supplies safe.
- The reason the civil war was fought was to save slaves. one factor that caused the war was 'uncle toms cabin.' Uncle Tom’s Cabin was about the harsh reality of slavery in the south and the north didn't want slaves which further divided the south and the north.
- Confederacy War Efforts
- To keep the union from getting their supplies, the confederate states burned it.
- When Abraham was elected president Southerner states started seceded and formed the Confederate states for america, soon after attacked fort Sumter.
- Legacy of the War
- The legacy of the civil war was to change the way everybody looked at slaves.
- To keep their supplies safe the Union blockaded the southern ports so they wouldn't be able to get any of their supplies.
- During the war the Confederacy burned their supplies so the union would not be able to steal their guns.
- The legacy of the civil war was to bring the southern states and the north states back together and make the u.s. It was also to make slaves look like people and not materials.
