Forrest BowserMrs. MorrowHonors Chemistry Period 4-510 November 2021 ELEMENTAL SUPERHERO: COLBALTRON Element: Cobalt
HELP! He is trying to steal my purse!
Not on my watch! And acid won't, do anything to my suit! Also why do you have acid?
That won't even leave a dent in my suit either!
Oh no, I'm so magnetic, I got attracted to the lampost, and I can't get off.
NOO!!
Superpower #1 is a low reactivity rate to most acids. This enables the superhero to be mostly immune to any acids that may come into contact with the cobalt metal. This is a chemical property. (The green block represents the vial of acid the thief threw in the hero's face).
Superpower #2 is hardness. Cobalt is a very hard metal, and the superhero uses this to his advantage. Whenever the superhero is hit, usually with a blunt object, there is only minimal damage due to the strength of Cobalt. Hardness/Strength is a physical property.
The weakness is incredibly high magnetism. While this can be viewed as a good superpower, it is also a weakness due to the fact the hero gets attracted to metals too easily. This enabled the thief to get away with the woman's purse. Magnetism is a physical property.
