Storyboard Text
This is a example of repetition. The author has Lennie keep saying that he doesn't want any trouble from Curley
"I don't want to trouble George. I didn't do none, I never want'd no trouble." (Steinbeck 24).
This is a example of a simile. where the author uses the word "like" to compare Lennie drinking the water to a horse.
"...drank with long gulps, snorting into the water like a horse," (Steinbeck 3).
This is foreshadowing. I think something will happen between Lennie and Curlys wife later in the book.
" "She's real purdy," said Lennie," (Steinbeck 28).
