- Grass like all green plants play a very important role in producing oxygen. Grass also absorbs carbon dioxide from air,water using light energy to convert them into glucose

- so with ATP its actually something all organisms use. It is created during cellular respiration and photosynthesis

- Well first the grass stays green due to the chlorophyll. With the pigment in it it absorbs sunlight for photosynthesis
