It's a basic 35 minute test where they test your vehicle handeling, observation, and hazard awareness. You must hold the N for consecutive 24 months to get full license.
What do I have to do in that test and what do i do afterwards?
However, if you complete an ICBC approved training course during the 'L' stage, you can shave off 6 months off this duration , allowing you to graduate after 18 months

Like always, there are rules after you get your N. 1) You must replace the red L with the official N sign and it must always be displayed on the rear of the vehicle
2) You are restricted to carrying only 1 passenger unless you are accompanied by a qualified supervisor (25+ with full class 1-5 license) OR the passengers are members of you immediate family.
Also, you must have zero trace of alcohol or drugs in your system and there is a total ban on using the electronics such as smartwatches, phones, etc
