- One Year Later.....
- I have driven 1 year with a supervisor, and I think it is time for me to test for my N. I have take my Class 7 Road Test. Can you outline what I need to know?
- You will have to take a full road test. It will take about 45 minutes. The examiner will see if you can show different skills in a safe manner. If you didn't pass, you can retest after 14 days, so don't worry too much. Good luck and be safe!
- I passed my N test on my first try! I got a reflective N sign to replace my L sign. I can also drive at night now!
- Good! Here are some restrictions you have to follow. No alcohol or drugs in your body when you drive. Display the N on the back of your vehicle. No electronic hand held devices. 1 passenger only unless you are with a supervisor. 2 years later with safe driving, you can get your full license!

- I have safely driven for 2 years with my N, and it is time ton take my Class 5 Road Test to get my full license. What must I do?

- Try studying off some tests on the ICBC websitee, but make sure to get some hands-on driving practice too. The examiner will expect you to demonstrate a variety of skills, so be ready. You can check what they are looking for in more detail on the ICBC website. You will be asked to point out some potential hazards on the road as well. The examiner will check your car before you start to make sure it is safe to drive, and then you will take the test. After the test, the examiner will debrief it to you and tell you the results. Good luck and be safe! You can do your second test after 14 days if you don't pass.
