On June 11, 1962, Frank Morris was still awake in his prison cell. For months, Morris, Clarence and John Anglin, and Allen West had been plotting escape from the prison, Alcatraz.

When the four men first started plotting their escape, they started to slowly chip away at the walls of their cells. It was a slow process, but they finally made a hole large enough for them to climb out of. They also made life preservers and a raft made from stolen raincoats.
As they were about to escape, Allen West couldn't escape from his cell at the last minute. Morris and the Anglin brothers left him behind. Morris and the Anglin brothers climbed onto the roof and avoided the security lights. Many had made it to that point but drowned or got pushed back by the powerful ocean currents.
Will we be able to do the impossible by escaping?
OH NO! I can't get out!
When Morris and the Anglin brothers were discovered to be missing from their cells, the prison conducted a massive investigation to find them.
WHERE DID THEY GO?!?!
Morris and the Anglin brothers were never seen or heard from again. They were presumed dead.
