- I have a request.
- Do you remember when I saved your life in the great Trojan War!
- Why do you enter?
- And why should I do that?
- Fine I will give you 1 favor.
- W-why did you do this?
- Because which god or goddess wouldn’t want the entirety of earth to bow down to them? I sure don't.
- Sometimes people wonder why it snows, why the ocean is so violent, and why ice is so deadly. Today all of your questions will be answered but first, we have to travel back in time to 700BC. Poseidon is here with Ullr while he stares at Sif’s and Thor's dead bodies lying lifelessly on the ground. They are covered head to toe in blood. Ullr was crying wanting his parents back. Ullr watched them die in front of his eyes but he could not do anything because he was powerless.
- you want to know how I did this Don't you?
- You're saying this right when you're walking into your end.
- This is taking so long, will you stop yapping and let me kill you already!
- You want these to be your last words, weird but okay this was your choice. I'll make sure to put it on your grave.
- Ullr is now 17 and Poseidon thinks it is time to finally bring Ullr to Boreas. They reach thrance. Poesidon requests one favor. The one favor that Poseidon requested was for Boreas to grant Ullr one sort of power. Ullr ended up with the power of the snow. This was the first time the world was going to see something so soft and delicate but cold and deadly at the same time. Poseidon tried to teach him but Ullr was stubborn.
- If he had ever listened to one of my lessons he would have known to never let his guard down. *sigh
- As a last resort to teach Ullr, Poseidon took him to an island and threatened to kill him if the island wasn't covered in snow by the time he came back. When he returned and saw nothing and no one there he followed an ice sheet that Ullr left to the mainland. He was horrified to see the towns covered in snow. He tried to stab Ullr with his trident, but Ullr doed the attack. He then left.
- *sniff* He was just a kid and why did I kill him.WAHHHHH *sniff*
- As Poseidon passed, hundreds of villages were destroyed by snow. He realized just how powerful Ullr was. By the time he reached, Ullr Poseidon was very confused by what he was doing. All Ullr was doing was sitting on a big boulder and meditating. The one strange thing all around him was a tornato shaped blizzard. Then the two officially declared war against each other to the death.
- The war was nearing the end and was turning in Poseidons favor. The only option for Ullr was to go to the person who gave his power...Boreas. When he got to thrace and asked boreas for help it turned out Poseidon had got there before him. Boreas had helped Poseidonm in killing Ullr and they did it. Since Ullr died Poseidon got his power.
- Since Poseidon lost someone he cared about he bacame sad and to hide that he was always mad now. So think to yourself whenever it rains or snows Poseidon is greving. This story is the reason why it snows, why the ocean is so violent, and why ice is so deadly. All because of one 18-year-old boy two of the strongest gods can’t move on. All because of one 18-year-old boy so many people suffer. All because of one 18-year-old boy the world has had to be stitched back together from pieces that will never fit together again like the way they used to.
